| We got to Dali via a 10-hour sleeper train, sharing a carriage with two girls from Sweden who (to our shame) spoke Mandarin. We stayed in the centre of the old town and got our first glimpse of the mountains when the sun rose over them at about 7am - absolutely gorgeous. | ||
