on my own in a little bit of paradise
Posted Wednesday, 20 September 2006
well i moved on from one island to the other (Koh Pha Nang). where i decided to have a little holiday ... you know this travelling lark is trying stuff....a hahaha.

I had a little beach bungalow and before I knew it made a posse of friends from all over the planet who were equally beach bums... i sort of 'pottered' on this one bay for a few days. there is some smut to report here, please email with requests.

I made friends with the beach massage ladies. who on my last day i gave a impromptu 2 hour English lesson. they needed to know phrases to do with their work like 'please turn over' and 'cross your legs' etc. In the end I gave them some cheesy phrases to try and get punters over to their stall. the usual cry of 'lady, massage' i explained was a little uninspiring... now they can say 'hey, Sir, come and relax with us, we are the best in Thailand' and other phrases equally cheese worthy. i also wrote some blurb they could put on a board explaining their different massage techniques..it was such heard sell that the next time i go I expect them to have opened up some massage spa resort with the proceeds... getting them to make the right noises was hilarious.. i had them roaring like motorbikes for the 'r' sound, woofing like a dog for 'w' and hissing like a snake for the 's'. by the end of it I had a gathering of a cook, 2 bracelets sellers and a hooker all making strange noises and laughing. the ladies helped me onto my truck by carrying my bag (between them) shouting 'i wove you windy'...arh..
