A meeting of ideologies

Although the Cosmosphere was remarkably impartial, truthful and balanced, this little effort was a bit of a let down. The statue of Lenin, "liberated" from somewhere out East, is lit with a single red lamp (of course) and, as he would have been a little imposing alone (about nine foot tall, big long beard..) they've decided to make up an American counterpart for the opposite wall.

As you can see, to balance out a philosopher, leader and very real historical icon, the Cosmosphere have used.. a cartoon character. Sigh.

CynThis is my favourite part of the entire exhibit. Lenin and Uncle Sam.But that's not the only reason I like it. Something about that statue of Lenin always makes me want to hold his hand. And there's no sign that says I can't, so I do.I don't know *why*, I just do. Sheesh. I don't even *like* Lenin, it's just that stupid statue...
