| Sadly, I am too disorganised for this up-to-the-minute blogging lark. I didn't buy a wireless card for the laptop so I couldn't take advantage of free Internet which seems to be so plentiful here and, additionally, I have been far too busy actually meeting people and having fun to write about it. Well, better that way around than the opposite, right? The final count must be in the fifties; after last night I think I have forty-five entries in THE BOOK and I know I missed several through poor organisation and sheer forgetfulness. Apologies to the Utah contingent - I really don't know what happened there. I must have been so blown away by the scenery (sunburn?) that it simply slipped my mind. Still, there you go. I'm a little disappointed it's over, of course, but I'm exhausted, skint and hung over so in some (not so) small way I'm happy to be going home. I think sleep will play a large part of the next 48 hours' itinerary. In fact, I'm quite keen to go to the airport now, 5 hours before the flight leaves, and get a head start in Departures. I just have one task remaining: a birthday present for my mother. Lord knows what I'm going to pick up here on Hollywood Boulevard (I'm guessing a Hooters t-shirt might not go down too well) but my valiant efforts will pay off.. otherwise it may just have to be some duty-free Scotch! Cheers people; it's been fun. I'll update all the stops I missed when I get back with pictures and narrative. Once I've had some sleep, that is! | ||
