An ancient relic in all its glory
Posted Thursday, 29 June 2006
We went to My Son (not My son in like 'Go on my sunnnn' but mee-sohn). It's an ancient temple complex founded by very old people a long time ago who were very clever and cultural and stuff. It's like a mini Angkor Wat. One of the reasons it looks old and crukmbly is not because the passing centuries have taken thier toll but more to do with the fact the Viet Cong hung out here so the Yanks bombed it to shit.
