How not to big up your monuments Posted Sunday, 21 May 2006 This plaque is on the side of the Patuxie - Vientaine's Arc de Triomphe. If you look closely you will see it says: "From a closer distance...it looks like a monster of concrete." I think their tourist board needs to engage the help of a PR firm or two.
