Silk worms
Posted Friday, 19 May 2006
This scene of carnage is a basket full of silkworms at a silk factory visited. The white dots are all eggs. Once the silk worm lays them it dies. Silk worms are like caterpillars with the silk being made from the cocoon they make before they turn into flying white bugs. These silkworms are allowed to hatch so they can keep the whole life cycle going.
